I made this quilt for my sister. She collects pigs: ceramic, cast iron, stuffed, etc. The back of this quilt is a pig print. I folded the quilt inside out, wrapped it, and gave it to her for Christmas. When she opened the box, she exclaimed, "Pigs! Pigs!" She took it out of the box and shook it out, admiring the pigs. Meanwhile, the rest of the family is looking at the front of the quilt, making an appreciative "ooooo" sound. Imagine the confused look on my sister's face. After all, she thought she was looking at the "front" of the quilt.
